God of War 4 Rumor Round-up: New IP 'Bound' Maybe Taking Santa Monica Studios' Time

By

The idea of God of War 4 has still stayed prominent over the many months that it was a hot topic and up to this day, fans have restlessly proposed the possibilities they would want the alleged fourth title to pursue. Santa Monica Studios have not been very vocal about it but the fans are simply full head of steam with their ideas.

According to What Culture, fans have debated continuously about the paths that the game could go in case that a God of War 4 will truly move forward. Some rumors claim that despite the ending that God of War 3 was firm on doing, gamers are still convinced that Kratos will come back to take on more mythological entities that prove threatening. Others insist on a more contradictory note, saying that it may even no longer be him; but since the entire series was based off his endeavors.

Youth Health Mag delivered that others have already speculated on release dates for the game, though Santa Monica Studios have not said anything about it. Various rumors declared as well that the PlayStation title could already be on its way to being created, topped with the fact that Santa Monica Studios is in need of some staff to work on a God of War title that has not been named yet.

Past news noted that a new IP is being worked on by Santa Monica Studios alongside Plastic Studios entitled Bound which may be one of the reasons that a God of War 4 title is still quite a distant goal. Not much details have been laid out for the said game, but the solidity of the news was further developed when the need for another team was declared, presumably under different supervision to work on Bound, and the other being God of War 4.

So far, Santa Monica Studios has stayed mum with news on anything that pertains to God of War 4. The most recent launch of Santa Monica Studios is the God of War 3 re-mastered version which has become quite a strong contender as late.
