One Piece: Burning Blood Release Date Set May 31st in US; Support Character Addition Features Revealed

One Piece: Burning Blood is still a few months away from its designated release date. However, as early as now, Bandai Namco spoils the fans with a lot of the vital information that the game is expected to have, coming from the recent Marineford announcement.

According to Silicon Era, the up and coming One Piece: Burning Blood is undoubtedly on its way to the apparent release date in the middle of the year. With it, some breaking news have been befallen the awaiting fans that spilled out the affirmative factors that Bandai Namco has allowed the public to know; one of which is the inclusion of the support characters in the game.

As per Gematsu, Mozu and Kiwi are only two of the characters that were confirmed of being support, with the Square Sisters alongside Bepo, Dadan, Karoo, Laboon and Kureha. Apart from selecting three playable characters, the support characters are also on the table, giving additional effects like restoring a portion of a player's HP or adding damage to some attacks. Though the characters do not actually appear in the game, the support characters can be used via d-pad or come about through certain battle conditions, helping expand the team's strengths or conceal some weaknesses.

Noted by Game Reactor, One Piece: Burning Blood recently gave illustrations for the aforementioned characters that acted as support. After the announcement of Marineford, fans of the One Piece saga have tuned in for more news on the said upcoming title, given that the teasers were consistent for the past number of months.

The anticipated One Piece: Burning Blood title is expected to hit the shelves on May 31st for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PS Vita for the North American territories. Europe will get the game a few days later on June 3, and a PC version is expected to be released within June as well. Keep posted for more One Piece: Burning Blood news.
