Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phones can now be updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow using the CRISSCROSS ROM. One of the lucky units has the model number G925F.
CRISSCROSS custom ROM, based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, now supports Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phones with model number G925F. The ROM offers features like pre-root, five-way reboot menu and call recorder. CRISSCROSS is also deodexed and features the Aroma Installer and Samsung theme engine. It is pretty fast, smooth and stable.
Before installing CRISSCROSS on the phone, take note of the following reminders:
1. Use only Samsung Galaxy S6 with model number G925F. Using other variant may cause severe damage to phone.
2. Install TWRP Recovery here.
3. Back up all necessary data here.
4. Download a USB driver here.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to download and install Android 6.0.1 CRISSCROSS on Samsung Galaxy S6 G925F:
1. Download Android 6.0.1 CRISSCROSS ROM on PC.
2. Connect phone to PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy then paste downloaded ROM to phone's memory or SD card.
4. Switch off phone and plug it out from the PC.
5. Go to Recovery Mode by press holding volume up, home and power buttons.
6. Once in TWRP Recovery, choose 'Wipe' to delete of data and 'Swipe to Factory Reset'.
7. Go to main menu and choose 'Install'. Choose the copied ZIP file on the phone.
8. Choose 'Swipe to Confirm Flash'.
9. Wait for the installation to complete.
10. When phone gets into any boot loops or other troubles, tap 'Wipe cache/dalvik' button.
11. Choose 'Reboot System'.
To verify the update, go to Settings > About phone.
