Taylor Swift accused of two-count slander by a former radio host

By

Former KYGO radio host David Mueller added two counts of slander charges to his complaint, claiming Swift's statements have caused harm, and besmirched his reputation, profession and standing in the community.

In his amended complain, Mueller claimed he was fired from his job after Swift falsely accused him of groping during her Red Tour meet-and-greet. Mueller's contract with KYGO was terminated on June 4, two days after the said event. In the said job, he earned $150,000 a year with the potential for bonuses and appearance fees.

Mueller also declared in the results of his two polygraph examination.

As alleged and emphasized in the countersuit, "In the course of his meet and greet with Ms. Swift, Mueller intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission. Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph: he lifted her skirt and groped her."

In a report by Hollywood Reporter, Mueller told that all the allegations by Swift were all nonsense and fictitious. He also pinpointed his former boss, Eddie Haskell, who grabbed Swift's skirt that night.

"Eddie Haskell and one of his friends in the industry think Ms. Swift must wear bicycle shorts under her stage outfits," Mueller stated.

However, J. Douglas Baldridge, Swift's counsel, denied the allegation since Swift and Haskell were engaged in their long-term business.

"Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliation and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts," Baldridge added.

Mueller first sued Swift in September 2013 and alleged that her accusations got him fired. One month later, Swift countersued for assault and battery. The alleged incident occurred during a photo session backstage during her Red Tour.

According to NME, Swift had requested a jury trial. She said any financial reward from the lawsuit will be donated to charities that are "dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard."
