‘Sons of Anarchy’ Prequel Update: Charlie Hunnam confirms Jax Teller not returning, says “time to move on”

While fans are excited to see the upcoming 'Sons of Anarchy' prequel, others may find it sad when they found that their favourite character Jax Teller won't have a comeback. In an interview, Charlie Hunnam says it's time to move on and he also bids goodbye to his character.

Many fans are glad when they found out that 'Sons of Anarchy' prequel is taking shape. In fact, followers of the show are already eager to know the spinoff release date and some spoilers from the network. But FX is still keeping mum about the show's development.

Latest 'Sons of Anarchy' spinoff update reveals that a beloved character won't appear in the prequel. In a recent interview with GQ, actor Charlie Hunnam reveals that his character Jax Teller is not coming back to 'Sons of Anarchy' spinoff.

Hunnam divulges that he was sad and shed tears when he said goodbye to his character Jax. He reveals that he has great affection to him. He says, "It was a lot tears for, like, two or three weeks, every time I thought about it. Then one day, I woke up and was like, "Okay, it's time to move on. RIP, Jax Teller."

It is not also clear if whether both Hunnam and Jax Teller will not return or just the character. But previous speculations that the actor may have still appear and get a new role.

However, it's still quite disheartening to know about Jax's fate. In fact, many thought he could still return to the prequel. But fans now have to accept that the sensitive bad boy Jax won't be seen in 'Sons of Anarchy' spinoff.

While Jax is out, another Teller might cheer up fans. According to Parent Herald, Brad Pitt is set to play Jax's father, John Teller. But this is yet to be confirmed by the network. Meanwhile, the storyline for 'Sons of Anarchy' prequel will delve into the relationship between John Teller and Piney, and the reason why they fled from Nam to United States. This will also tackle about Mayans.
