Crystal Reed officially returns to "Teen Wolf" Season 5 to play a brand new character, Marie-Jeanne Valet, an Argent ancestor which will be introduced in the upcoming episode. Also, MTV has released the official plot synopsis for episode 18 'Maid of Gevaudan' and the previous episode 17 'A Credible Threat' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.
Cast member Crystal Reed officially signs in to return to "Teen Wolf" Season 5. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 31-year-old American actress will be playing a whole new different character, Marie-Jeanne Valet. Valet happens to be an Argent ancestor who has a few things in common with Reed's recent character, Allison Argent. Reed's role is set to debut in the 18th episode of the MTV series.
As for the official synopsis of episode 18, TV notes, "The Argents share an important clue about the mystery of the Beast of Gevaudan; and Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) tries to take on the Beast by himself."
For a quick recap of "Teen Wolf" Season 5 previous episode 17 "A Credible Threat", TV Fanatic has reported that the Beast got wiser and smarter after Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley) lost in a battle with it at school. Based on Mason's investigation, the Doctors seemingly used a high-frequency radio signals which served as the trigger to shift the Beast. Because of that discovery, the pack thought they could summon the Beast in the next lacrosse game.
Scott and Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien) convinced Coach Bobby Finstock (Orny Adams) to help them with the game unfortunately, he refused. So Scott asked for Brett Talbot (Cody Saintgnue) and Lori's (Lily Bleu Andrew) help instead and during the game, Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho) injured a player and almost killed Lori but was prevented by Scott.
