Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts 3 is still yet to set a trend but fans have become skeptical of what will become of the third title. Rumors have circulated on the possible included characters of the story, Square Enix, however, is still rather quiet on the matter for the moment.
According to Gaming Bolt, one of the most dominant feat that fans are speculating about Kingdom Hearts 3 is the number of designated playable characters in the franchise. Some have already concluded that due to the pattern that was established in the past; Kingdom Hearts having one lead and the second having two, the third was naturally presumed to have three.
So far, as per Parent Herald, the characters seen for Kingdom Hearts 3 are comprised of Donald and Goofy but rumors have gone around that there will definitely be more. Reports on rumored characters from the Kim Possible series and even High School Musical were heard of but not proven correct yet, as well as from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. So far, these are all unproven but since Tetsuya Nomura of Square Enix has disclosed that their company and Disney are in great terms, it is not an unlikely to happen.
As per Segment Next, fans of the Kingdom Hearts series are urged to stay patient as the game was given a release period of 2017. No specific date has befallen the third installment and as many believe that the entire development team is focusing on the Final Fantasy titles, it certainly might take a little while longer before more news comes into fruition.
Kingdom Hearts 3 has only published a few trailers so far, and with it, only a very limited amount of information has been concluded by the fans. Stay posted for further news on Square Enix's proposed third installment that follows the continuous saga of Kingdom Hearts through the years.
