A brush fire scorched 350 acres in San Bernardino County, setting ablaze 350 acres and forced massive evacuations on Friday, ABC13 reported.
The fire was reportedly 5 percent contained as of 11 p.m. on Friday evening, as the blaze, called the Mill Fire was reported east of the 4200 block of Mill Creek Road.
Evacuation order have since been lifted for Yucaipa residents, news reports said. Residents with horse stables were seen evacuating their animals from a large property in the area, ABC13 reported.
Officials indicated that evacuated residents can bring animals to Yucaipa Regional Park.
One home was damaged in the blaze.
California spokesman Bill Peters said hot spots remain, but no structural damage or injuries have yet been reported, Christian Science Monitor reported.
"When you look at how fast it's starting, it's not going to take much," Peters said. "The slightest spark and it's going to take off."
A cause of the blaze has not been determined.Temperatures have hit 106 degrees in the area to compound relief efforts by firefighters.
