Former Disney Star Arrested for Allegedly Beating Girlfriend

By

On Thursday, a former Disney star made his way to Torrance courthouse to face the charges filed against him last month, after a witness saw him striking his girlfriend in the parking lot of a police station situated in Torrance, California. The witness who saw the incident reportedly saw everything and dialed to call police officers who were in the vicinity of the incident as well.

Daily Mail reported that as Orlando Brown made his way to the courthouse, he couldn't help but take a short video with his girlfriend laughing off the claims that he hit her. Brown shared these videos on his Instagram account where he kept asking his girlfriend if he beat her last month. His girlfriend smiled and shook his head in response. The 28-year-old was once famous for being the best friend of Raven Symone from the Disney TV series That's So Raven.

As reported by TMZ, Brown was seen striking his girlfriend. According to the website, police officers said that Brown refused to leave his vehicle when they responded to the call. This led the police officers to find methamphetamine on the former actor before he was booked in jail. The actor was then charged with obstruction of justice, misdemeanor domestic battery, having contraband in jail, and drug possession with intent to sell. People reported that he was released from custody on February 12 after posting an unspecified amount as bail.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Brown was in trouble with the law. Back in August 2014, he struck a plea deal for threatening to kill a woman and her daughter. A year before that and the actor was arrested for his second DUI. He was also thrown in jail in 2012 for violating his probation terms. In 2011, he was arrested for a DUI and found to possess marijuana in 2007.
