After months of speculations from fans and onlookers, Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid's relationship have finally been confirmed by nothing less than a slip of tongue.
Fans of One Direction member, Zayn Malik and socialite Gigi Hadid have been wondering if the two are in a relationship. The two started to create buzz when they were frequently seen spending time together privately. As a confirmation, Malik accidentally admitted that Hadid is indeed his girlfriend.
Malik might have revealed the real deal between him and the actress during an interview with the radio show, Zach Sang & the Gang. Co-host Jill Gutowitz asked the singer if it "was cool to have your girlfriend in the video?" Hadid appeared in Malik's video, Pillowtalk, where they are seen making out.
"Uh yeah. That was cool. It was something different. We enjoyed it. It was fun," answered Malik, ultimately revealing the relationship status between him and the model.
To press the celebrity even more and to make sure that there is no room for doubt, the host asked another question that further confirmed that he and Hadid are an item.
"No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?" added Gutowitz, to which Malik responded, "exactly."
While Gutowitz might think that he is pulling smarts off of the One Direction member, Malik acknowledged what the host just did with a playful response.
"I like what you've done there," comments the boy band member, as reported by Teen Vogue.
After Pillowtalk was released, rumors started circulating about the two. However, Malik and Hadid denied relationship rumors and insisted that they were merely "friends."
During a guesting for Apple Music Beats 1 chart, host Zane Lowe asked if he was romantically involved with the model.
"Yeah we're good friends," said Malik, as reported by The Mirror.
