F1 champion Michael Schumacher is still on treatment after a horrible incident in 2013. Although the news blackout about his health is still ongoing, his former Ferrari boss, Luca di Montezemolo gave out hints on Schumacher's current state.
As reported by The Guardian, Montezemolo recently revealed news on Schumacher's state. "I have news and unfortunately it is not good", the Montezemolo said. "Michael was a great driver, and we experienced a long time together in both our personal and professional lives. But life is really strange. He was the most successful driver of Ferrari and in his career he had only one accident, in 1999. But unfortunately a fall in a ski accident has broken him."
Montezemolo said that he also checks up on Schumacher often. According to BBC, Schumacher's spokesperson, Sabine Kehm, was also contacted for further information on the F1 champion's state, however, Kehn declined to comment on the matter.
Wishes for his recovery have flooded for Schumacher from his fellow racers, bosses, and fans. As reported by The Bitbag, fellow racer and once rival, Mika Hakkinen, told his best memories with Schumacher saying that one of his best memories in his F1 career was when he competed against him.
He also expressed his wishes for his health, "I hope and pray that those encouraging signs are continuing still. No, he will never race again; no, he may never walk again; he may never talk again, for all I know. But, on the other hand, he may", Hakkinen said.
Schumacher has an incredible record in his career after he won the world title seven times, and won 91 races which is a record yet to be broken by other racers. Schumacher has been receiving therapy from experts in his home in Switzerland after he met a horrible incident while skiing with his wife and two kids in France.
