"Castle" Season 8's second half was supposed to premiere on February 1 but it has been moved on a later date. The upcoming episode of the show will see Kate and Rick spending a lot of intimate time in their bedroom.
In a report by, Fashion & Style, ABC has confirmed that the premiere for "Castle" Season 8 Episode 9 will be on February 8. The episode entitled "Tone Death" has been moved due to two possible reasons. Accordingly, the first is the political news coverage in Iowa while the second is another 3-hours show of "The Bachelor".
Just a recap, International Business Times reported that the mid-season finale of "Castle" Season 8 showed the much-awaited Rick-Kate reunion and it seems that fans will be treated to more intimate moments between the two. The two got back together after briefly taking a break as they solved a case on a cruise ship. They have not made their reunion public yet and they will still pretend to be separated in front of their friends and colleagues.
In a new promo released for "Castle" Season 8 Episode 9, Kate was heard asking, "Is it wrong that I want to kiss you right now?" to which Rick replies, "So wrong it's right." The teaser clip also showed the two sharing intimate moments together in their bedroom and in one shot, the two were seen making love. Rick was heard saying, "You successfully completed your agenda." Kate then replied, "Three times."
Co-showrunner Alexi Hawley said that the two will seem "separated" in front of their friends but will do things as a married couple in the privacy of their homes. Hawley shared, "What we love is that now that we're twisting it so that they're in it together but the public face of them is separate, that allows the audience to be in on the joke with them - in the sense that they can fight in public, but the audience knows it's just an act."
As for the other spoilers for "Castle" Season 8's upcoming episodes, Carter Matt reported that Castle will be called in to investigate the mysterious death of a Russian diplomat's son. This will reportedly be for episode 11.
