Chicago Rapper Lil Reese arrested over indirect criminal contempt charges

Lil Reese is behind bars again after being picked up on charges that include an indirect criminal contempt as reported by sources. This would be the fourth time that Def Jam artist has been arrested but still no bail has been set and it is unclear when Tavares Taylor, his real name, might be freed.

Taylor has been arrested once again and now is being held at Cook County jail as reported by Hot New Hip Hop. The report indicated that the rapper was arrested on Saturday due to indirect criminal contempt charges but there has been no specificity regarding this report. There is no set bail regarding Lil Reese case for now but a hearing is being made for February 1, 2016.

Moreover, SOHH claimed that Taylor will be remaining in the county jail for a week. This would be his latest arrest after being arrested in summer of 2014 under weapons charge. The case was complicated due to Taylor's claims that a law enforcer has planted a gun on him. He posted on Twitter that "Police fufu put a gun on me but I'm out tho wat y'all talking bout I ain't got my phone rite na but imma getup wit y'all...#300." But nonetheless, the rapper was able to bail out after paying $50,000 on a felony gun arrest.

Further, Complex also details previous Lil Reese's encounter with the police. They wrote that on June 2013, Reese was picked up for charges including misdemeanor theft which was a BMW 2006 model. Also, the following month, Tavares Taylor was locked up for having possession of marijuana or cannabis.

Supa Savage Lil Reese is detained at Cook County jail to serve time until his hearing on Monday, February 1, 2016 for charges that include an indirect criminal contempt. There hasn't been a bail given to the rapper. The arrest would be his fourth one in 4 years where one charge vary from another.
