Now that Star Wars are going to continue in releasing film after film, the studio also confirmed that a Han Solo standalone film will be in the making with a young Han Solo to be featured. With this, reports about the possible actors to play the titular character were revealed.
Previously, reports indicate that there has been a short list regarding the possible actors to replace Harrison Ford for the Han Solo character. The We Got This Covered detailed that there are two actors running to play the role and with that, they've released statements regarding the iconic role. These two actors are Jack Reynon and Logan Lerman who have spoken out their thoughts about the role. First of them is Jack Reynon who told in an interview that they're talking in doing it and that Harrison Ford cannot be imitated.
Further, Percy Jackson's Logan Lerman added his statements regarding the upcoming film role. The Digital Spy stated that Lerman reckons he won't feel intimated by the massive role and thinks he'll have a good time doing it. He added that "I don't think I'd be intimidated" before saying "it would be just fun."
More to this, the actor also added some specifics to how he's going to take the role of being the smuggler, scoundrel hero of the franchise. The MTV reported that the actor being eyed have revealed that he's looking for fun. However, the actor also revealed that he's going to get out of his innocent charms. Lerman indicated that he would have no pressure and problem in being the scoundrel captain of Millennium Falcon if he was chosen as the one to play the character. Nonetheless, the studio hasn't released any confirmation on who to play Han Solo.
Han Solo movie is the standalone film in the Star Wars franchise that was previously characterized by Harrison Ford. The upcoming film will be featuring a younger Han Solo and list of actors being eyed was released. Now, two of these actors have talked regarding the possibility of being featured in the film. The Han Solo anthology film will be released on May 25, 2018 and will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
