Popstar Demi Lovato Campaigns for Former Secretary Hillary Clinton at the University of Iowa

Hillary Clinton definitely has a number of celebrities on her side that are willing to endorse her for running as president in the United States. One of these celebrities is former Disney star, Demi Lovato.

During Hillary Clinton's recent campaign concert at the University of Iowa, singer Demi Lovato was there and sang her hits in support of the candidate. According to PBS, the former secretary of state is trying to connect to the youth of today to gain their votes, however, it doesn't seem to be working well on her end. Reports say that more students still prefer her rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Although Sanders doesn't have great star power to back him up, many still prefer him over Clinton, as surveyed in Iowa alone. However, Clinton leads the race on a national level.

Singer Demi Lovato tried to target the female voters at the university, claiming that she doesn't know of anyone more confident than Hillary Clinton. Other than the concert, she also expressed her support on social media. The concert's crowd consisted largely of women who favour her and are moved by the thought of her being the first female president, as reported by Latin Post. Clinton has reportedly enlisted the help of many celebrities to deliver her message to the voters. There are other celebrities aside from Lovato who have campaigned for her.

Earlier this month, Huffington Post reported that star Lena Dunham campaigned for Clinton in the state, while singer-songwriter Katy Perry even shared the stage with her. In the recent concert last Thursday, singer Lovato introduced Clinton on stage in awe of her, as she embodies the concept of women empowerment. Clinton also took her time to thank the singer on stage, recognizing her strength and bravery in the things that she has been through in life.

As already said, Clinton definitely has a number of celebrities ready to support and campaign for her in her running for the presidency. It is only a matter of time before the results could be seen.
