Bourne 5 debuts July 2016; Julia Stiles confirmed to reprise role with lead actor Matt Damon

Fans of the thrilling action movie "Bourne 5" is now in the making and is set to hit the big screen worldwide this July 2016. The fifth movie franchise of "Bourne" is said to be casting comeback actors with its lead characters together with the movie's two- time series director.

The lead character of the "Bourne" movie, Jason Bourne, will once again be portrayed by Hollywood actor, Matt Damon. He had been the movies lead actor on its first three sequels, "The Bourne Identitiy", "The Bourne Supremacy", and "The Bourne Ultimatum".

The movie is said to be on its production process with Matt Damon have been busy on a press tour for the movie "The Martian". New York Daily News reported that the actor stated that he will be reprising his titular role for the movie as an amnesiac assassin because viewers have been wondering where had Jason Bourne been after all these years.

Another character set for a comeback is Nicolette "Nicky" Parsons portrayed by Hollywood actress Julia Stiles. She is said to have confirmed for the role among the other characters for the fifth "Bourne" movie aside from Matt Damon. Her role as Nicky Parsons, a CIA analyst who has been Bourne's ally in hree sequels of the movie, is said to be one of the key characters in "Bourne 5".

Also, Paul Greengrass who directed "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "The Bourne Supremacy" returns for the third time to direct the new untitled "Bourne 5". In addition to directing, Greengrass has been writing the screenplay and details have been unknown yet.

There have been four movies of "Bourne", however, the fourth movie, "The Bourne Legacy" had a different lead character, Aaron Cross, portrayed by actor Jeremy Renner.

All "Bourne" movies including "Bourne 5" are based on a novel written by Robert Ludlum and with the same titles as the movies.
