Kristin Cavallari Breaks Her Silence After Car Collission

By

Actress Kristin Cavallari finally has spoken out after the car she's driving collided with another vehicle outside Chicago on Thursday, Jan.21. Cavallari reportedly suffered a broken elbow and is now recuperating at her home.

"Dislocated my elbow last Thursday and not being able to hold my baby is absolutely killing me," Cavallari, 29, shared on Twitter on Sunday, according to PEOPLE. It has been her first message since the accident in Chicago happened last week.

TMZ first broke the news that the reality star was involved in a car wreck. It is said that her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler rushed to the hospital after learning about the incident. Luckily, her three kids, Camden, 3, Jaxon, 1, and newborn Saylor were not with her during the collision. She was released from the Chicago-area hospital the following day. Cops attended to the hospital to get reports.

"She was hit by another driver in Chicago. She is doing fine and will be discharged from the hospital shortly," Cavallari's rep, Jack Ketsoyan said.

E! News reports that Cavallari did not have major injuries. She only had dislocated elbow and that her whole body was sore that required her to stay at the hospital for a day. The shocking accident comes on the heels of the "The Fabulist" star brother Michael Cavallari's death in December. Michael was missing for several days before his body was found in Utah. The "Hillls" star has not been seen in the limelight since her brother's death.

Before the accident, Cavallari released a statement regarding her brother's death. "We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time. We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."

It was a tough year for Cavallari who faced the untimely death of his brother. She gave birth to her youngest, Saylor in November.
