Teresa Giudice Returns into the Spotlight after Spending Nearly a Year in Prison

American reality television star, Teresa Giudice returned into the spotlight on a Thursday night event after spending almost one year behind the jail bars. The Real Housewives of New Jersey actress appeared in style on the redcarpet along with Gia, her teen daughter at the Envy fashion boutique grand opening of her fellow RHONJ star Melissa Gorga.

According to ET, the 43 year old American actress, Teresa Giudice had her first appearance in the public following her imprisonment for almost a year. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was just release three weeks ago.

The actress still needs to follow to a 10pm curfew as part of condition of her probation, according to Inquisitr. Giudices doesn't want to violate her curfew and she asked her Uber driver to speed up to her home. However, the driver was stopped by officers for speeding on the road.

Fortunately, the actress made her way out of trouble with the police officer by explaining she was trying to make it in time with her 10pm curfew. She also said she immediately took the blame because it was her fault in the first place. Giudice said the police recognized her and understood her troubles while on probation. The police then let them go with only a warning.

According to E! News, on her Thursday evening appearance, the actress said, "I'm feeling great. I'm happy to be here to support my brother and my sister-in-law Melissa for the grand opening on her boutique Envy." The star also became emotional as she reunites with her other daughters, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana.

After her released, the actress still needs to complete her 15-month sentence in her home as part of her probation. Teresa was nearly two years in prison after she pleaded guilty with the charges of multiple cases of fraud.
