Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Now Engaged to Jason Statham

By

Usually, when celebrities get engaged, they take time to post the announcement through an Instagram post or through a publicist's statement. But for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, the announcement of the engagement was as simple as it could be. As they walked together on the red carpet of the recently concluded 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, many could not help but notice the sizable ring on the model-actress' left hand. True enough, a representative for the 28-year-old has confirmed these rumors. Huntington-Whiteley is now engaged to 48-year-old Statham.

The event was held at Beverly Hills' Hilton Hotel and was attended by only the biggest names in the industry. Huntington-Whiteley stepped on the red carpet looking gorgeous in a custom made Versace gold couture gown with sequin embellishments throughout the gown and trailed on the floor. The gown had spaghetti straps that met on a crisscross shape on the back. She paired this ensemble with pretty curls on her hair. Meanwhile, Statham looked stunning in a smart suit finished with a bow tie. Apart from the clothes they chose to wear to the event, they looked rather elegant and in love in each other's arms.

Huntington-Whiteley and Statham have both been dating since 2010. And for celebrities to last this long, that's already an achievement. They recently returned from a beach holiday in Thailand. However, there is no mention as to where and when Statham popped the question. Considering they both have not been previously married, this will be the first for them. Hopefully, this will be their first and only marriage since they both look perfect for each other. Given Statham's past relationship history (he was in a 7-year relationship with model Kelly Brook), this won't be hard to imagine.

While a rep for the model has confirmed the engagement rumors, they have not yet commented on when the wedding will be.
