According to Lowell Sun, when the Medford City Police posted pictures of the suspect from the surveillance camera on social media, a lot of people commented the he could pass as the 'Dirty Jobs' host's twin. As for Rowe, the attention impelled him to announce that at the time of the robbery, he was in Kansas, proving it was not really him as he posted, "To The People of Medford Oregon, I was in Kansas Monday, and can prove it, if need be," on his Twitter page.

The police department then made fun of what happened on their official Facebook page. Gazette Net even reported that the police posted that they were searching for a suspect now who is wearing a Mike Rowe mask after Rowe mentioned that he was across the country.

"First off, we appreciate all the tips on the bank robbery from yesterday. In fact, thanks to you guys, we issued an arrest warrant for Mike Rowe from the TV show, 'Dirty Jobs'," the police said. They added after though that they were just kidding and told everyone to keep an eye out for the real thief.

As For his part, Rowe told a publication that he agreed that he now found his doppelganger. True enough, their similarities could not be denied.

"I just laughed out loud. It does look like me," he added.

Fox News stated that the Oregon robbery suspect has allegedly demanded money from a Chase Bank branch last Monday. He is described as a white male, standing 5'6'' to 5'8'' tall.

Also, the Rowe lookalike wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a beige hat. Despite having a suspect, the police are still on the lookout for the real burglar.
