As various theories begin to emerge on the motive behind Adam Lanza's shootout at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, Bob Skuba, owner of the hair saloon he visited, spoke to reporters shedding some light on the young boy and his curious relationship with his mother Nancy Lanza.
Skuba told CBS Reporters, "Lanza would sit with his head straight down, his eyes adrift, never making eye contact." Skuba continued, "I would say, 'Adam, come on.' He wouldn't move...And his mother would have to say, 'Adam, come on, he's ready.' It was like I was invisible... Adam also wouldn't move from his chair after his hair was cut until his mother told him to," as reported by Fox News.
Skuba said that Adam never talked and his mother "always, always, always" answered for her son.
Skuba added that "It's just weird that I actually touched him. That's the worst part about it - that he was in one of our chairs. I'd try to joke with him. He wouldn't even look at me... I wish I would've killed him then," he says. "Or he should have killed himself a long time ago. He would've saved us all the trouble. ... He should've run in front of a bus, or some other type of terrible death he should've done to himself...It would've saved all those kids and parents the trouble. I should've slipped and stabbed him by accident. It would've been a lot better for those people," as reported by CBS News.
The 20-year-old gunman, who opened fire at the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, shot his mother with four guns before he made his way to the school, where he shot 27 people. Among those killed 20 were children between the ages of six and seven. Ultimately, he killed himself before the police arrived on the location.
The weapons used in the school shooting were ther same semi-automatic, legally registered weapons. Police say that investigation as to his motives are still under way.
