Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC Not Coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

By

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been a truly valuable expansion to the company, especially as the current generation of the first-person shooters are obviously putting their best foot forward. So far, the latest expansion has looked wonderfully, but gamers may be rendered slightly upset over the recent news that the developers are about to bring to the open.

As reported by International Business Times, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has undoubtedly reached the top of the food chain after being recently known to have stayed on the charts as one of the most recognized titles of the year. Sadly, however, is that since an announcement for the downloadable content was made, there are fans of the title that are cordially expecting their share and may be rendered disappointed.

According to Parent Herald, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has a scheduled downloadable content update in the coming months, but unfortunately, the upcoming one will only be made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. In a nutshell, those who have the older versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 cannot be considered as fortunate in the said update entitled "Awakening".

Video Gamer delivered that this is not the first time that a downloadable content update has been limited to only some versions, as the predecessor Nuketown 2065 was also made exclusive for the PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC versions. The Awakening update is only the first out of the four downloadable content packs made for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and because of it, fans are still keeping their hopes up on the remaining three.

Though the true reason behind the said decision is still not entirely known, fans are still sitting on the game's porch as they wait for more updates to come their way, and possibly for the other platforms that were denied of the content. Keep posted for more news on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
