LG to release new G5 equipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 4K display, LTE Advanced speeds, and more

LG is releasing its new flagship, the LG G5, in the market shelves soon. According to published reports, the new device shall offer interesting specs and features that can attract enthusiasts. Further, the new device will introduce some of its highlights like eye scanner and mobile scanner since it will be supported with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

According to Know Your mobile, LG G5 will introduce metal-clad bodies and curve edges. Breath Cast stated that LG will be coming up with such design in order to compete with its rivals such as Apple, Sony, Samsung, and HTC. It is known that G5's predecessors were made up of plastic and leather case. More so, the new device's display is also expected to come with 5.6 inches True HD IPS display with a flexible touchscreen. The new device's resolution is at around 3840 X 2160, with a 4K display.

Another report discussed the specs and features of LG G5. Biztek Mojo noted that G5 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. Reportedly, the new device will be supported with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In this regard, it is claimed that the new LG flagship will offer features of the software like fingerprint and iris scanner.

Further, related report mentioned that the processor offers LTE Advanced speeds which give at 12 (up to 600 Mbps) in the downlink and Cat 13 (up to 150 Mbps) in the uplink. It will also introduce Up to 4x4 MIMO on one downlink LTE carrier and Next Gen HD Voice and Video calling over LTE and Wi-Fi.

For those who are picture lovers, the new smartphone will come with 20MP sensor and will feature smile, face, and multi-gesture detection. Its battery will also be powered with 4000 mAH battery. On the other hand, related report mentioned that the cost may be at around $9000 USD which will be available in November or December.

According to the published reports, the creation of G5 is to fill in the shortcomings and some issues of the G4. Though, LG Company has yet to provide a statement regarding the release date of its new flagship.
