John Travolta Sued by Alleged Gay Lover Doug Gotterba Over Confidentiality Agreement

By

The man who allegedly claims to be John Travolta's gay lover is suing him over a threatening letter he received from Travolta's lawyer accusing him of breeching a confidentiality agreement.

Dough Gotterba recently spoke to the media about his supposed affair with the 58-year-old when he was worked for the Travolta family as their pilot between 18981 and 1987. Gotterba says that no sooner did he make the confession to the media that he received a letter from Travolta's attorney Marty Singer in which Singer threatened to sue him for breaching a confidentiality agreement where he agreed to never talk about any personal details while we worked for Travolta.

Gotterba denies that he ever signed such an agreement. Singer told TMZ that Gotterba's case is "ridiculous" because he certainly did sign a confidentiality agreement, like all Travolta's employees. Singer told TMZ, "Mr. Gotterba obviously filed this lawsuit to get his 15 minutes of fame. We plan to get this meritless case promptly dismissed."

In an August interview with the National Enquirer, Gotterba talked about his alleged affair in the August issue with headlines stating "John Travolta's Gay Lover Exposes Sex Tape Shocker."

This is the fourth lawsuit against the "Grease" actor in 2011. Earlier this year two of his masseurs and a cruise worker filed suit against Travolta for inappropriate sexual behavior. All three suits were dropped.

Travolta rose to fame in the 1970s with the hit musical "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever" for which he won an Academy Awards Nomination for best actor. Some of hit movies include the iconic "Pulp Fiction," "Face/Off" and "Get Shorty." He is married to actress Kelly Preston.
