Homicide Police Still Searching for Sian Blake and Family

By

Police have once again asked for any information on the whereabouts of 43-year-old Sian Blake, a former EastEnders actress who has been missing along with her two children since December 13. Blake, who plays Frankie Pierre on the TV show, has been missing with her children -- 8-year-old Zachary and 4-year-old Amon. They were last seen visiting family in Leyton, East London.

Just days after the three went missing, officers spoke to Arthur Simpson-Kent who was the partner of the former actress and father of the missing children. They paid the 48-year-old a visit at the family home in Erith, Kent on December 16. Ever since their last visit, they have not seen Mr. Simpson-Kent again. Because of this, police are now concerned for the welfare of Simpson-Kent and has since been reported as a high-risk missing person.

Since no leads have been received on the four, Scotland Yard has announced that the investigation will now be handled by the Homicide and Major Crime Command. With no information on the family, police are growing more and more concerned for their welfare especially since Blake suffers from a motor neurone disease, which is a life-threatening condition. Police are worried Blake may not be receiving her medication and treatment in order to be well.

Before police spoke with Simpson-Kent, they broke into the family home on December 15 but found it was empty. Blake's car, a silver/beige Scenic, was discovered yesterday Calvert Road, Bethnal Green, East London. It was, however, abandoned. Police have also obtained text records from Blake's phone, where she said she wanted to spend her last Christmas alone with her kids.

Blake is a 5'2" black woman with short black hair and a slim build. Although she wears glasses, she has been seen wearing contact lenses in the past. Simpson-Kent, on the other hand, is a 6'2" light-skinned man. Their kids have been described as light-skinned black boys.

Police are appealing for any leads or information on the whereabouts of the family. Anyone with information may get in touch with police at 020 8721 4805 or anonymously on Crimestoppers at 0800 555111.
