Though a lot of people are happy and surprised with the Justin Bieber's new album "Purpose", the San Francisco city attorney isn't one of them. He wants to know who vandalized the streets of San Francisco and is demanding Bieber's music publisher to help him.

According to Reuters, City Attorney Dennis Herrera said several walls and other locations of San Francisco has been spray painted with the words "Justin Bieber", "Purpose" and "#Nov13". He assumed that it was an advertisement for the pop sensation's new album which is titled "Purpose" and was released November this year. The city attorney also said "Our sidewalks in San Francisco are not canvasses for corporate advertising."

The graffiti certainly did not made Herrera happy that is why he sent a letter to Universal boss Jeffrey Harleston and Def Jam Recordings CEO Steve Bartels. The Guardian stated that the attorney, in his letter, demanded the bosses to take action and do something about the graffiti. According to the attorney, San Francisco streets and walls are not canvasses for corporation to put their advertisements in. He added that he would endlessly chase do all cost for whoever did that to pay penalties and fine. He also said in his letter that the vandalism sends message to the youth that the law is easy to break and it is okay to do so because it is supported by large companies.

The neighborhood was complaining about the graffiti because it was distracting. The graffiti is now being removed by the best efforts of Public Works crew members. LA Times said it was hard to remove all of the graffiti because it was spray-painted unlike some other advertisements that were drawn by chalk. The city attorney said forbidden marketing practice is exploiting the city's neighborhoods and strong tourism. It is purposely making visual disturbance that triggers risks to pedestrians on hectic rights of way.

Bieber's new album definitely should thank the graffiti because it made enough noise market for his album. The singers 'Purpose' album is his highest selling album since debut. It was also acknowledge by not only his fans but many other people.
