Facebook Obama Slur: Denise Helms Use of N-word and Assassination Sparks Secret Service Investigation (Watch Video)

By

Denise Helms, a 22-year Republican, who took to Facebook to call recently re-elected President Barrack Obama the derogatory "n-word" and suggested that he would soon be "assassinated, has been investigated by the Secret Service.

Helms posted the comments on her Facebook page the day after President Obama won the re-election. Her comments read as follows "Another four years of this N****, Maybe he'll get assassinated this term....!!!" as reported by FOX 40. The comments have since been removed from her page.

After garnering much negative attention of the Internet, the company Helms worked for, Cold Stone Creamery, fired the 22-year-old Thursday. Helms told Fox 40 "I don't know what I did wrong," implying that she was protected by the First Amendment Right of free speech to say as she pleases, regardless of how distasteful it might be to others.

Meanwhile, Cold Stone Creamery, released a statement, "The employee is no longer w/the company. We were as shocked as you were by her outrageous & completely unacceptable comments," as reported by Modesto Bee.

Store manager Chris Kegle told Modesto Bee, "We found her comments to be very disgusting, and they do not reflect our opinions here...We never saw anything from her at work like those comments," as reported by the L.A. Times.

Helms later admitted, "I didn't think it would be that big of a deal...The assassination part is kind of harsh. I'm not saying I'd go do that or anything like that, by any means, but if it was to happen I don't think I'd care one bit," as reported by the Inquisitor.

If the Secret Service finds her treat to be legitimate, Helms could be charged with a felony.
