The pop singer Becky G just dropped not just a single but three new songs on December 21 as an early present for her fans. The teenage artist made a countdown on her Instagram account for the official release of her new tracks.
"Merry Christmas to my amazing Beasters. As we get closer to the end of this year I can't help but reflect on everything I've been through. It's not easy, but with you all by my side I feel unstoppable," greets the young Youtuber to her supporters.
"You all mean the world to me. It all started here, just uploading videos on YouTube. Now look how far we've come. Our Beaster family continues to grow and that brings me so much happiness. I can't thank you guys enough. I love you."
She then introduced her tracks individually and made a supporting description on why and how she wrote them. The first song "Good at it," she says," is inspired by the new confidence I've found in myself as a woman. I love songs with vibe that make me feel good and sexy."
The next song entitled "Stutter" is a rendition of a song by the 90s to early 2000 popular artist named Joe, to which the singer mixed with her own rap to give it her personal touch.
"Literally decided to do this today out of the blue. Wanted to drop something for you guys since I'm in the holiday spirit. Here is a song I re-made with some great friends of mine. Crazy how just hanging out in the studio one day listening to old songs that I loved turned into this. I LOVE this song and wanted to cover it because I felt some type of way," confesses Becky G in reference to "Stutter."
"Music is how I express myself," writes the singer for her last gift song "The Lights." "I wrote this song because I had bottled up things I was feeling and didn't know what else to do other than put it into my work in the studio that day. Writing this helped me a lot. It's not a hype song but it's a song that means a lot to me."
Before these three tracks for Christmas, Becky G has not released any album since her last single "You Love it," although she was featured in her former boyfriend, Austin Mahone's recent single "Rollin" that they both worked on before their breakup in August.
