Battlefield 5 Expected To Be Top-Selling By 2016; Experts Say Dev Learned from Star Wars: Battlefront

By

Battlefield 5 is not just an idea that many fans have craved for, but already one title that will move forward to fruition. Following its successful predecessors, the proposed fifth installment to the first-person shooter masterpiece has some points that will make it one of the most decorated titles of 2016.

According to Tweak Town, EA DICE has proven themselves to be capable of creating high-end titles within their own rights, through the previous installments of Battlefield. Not only are the past expansions wonderful, but the downloadable contents created for them are utterly spectacular as well-which brings the talk of the fifth installment aboard.

As disclosed by MCV UK, as early as now, Battlefield 5 is already shaping up to be a rather promising expansion and some experts agree on the claim. One of the most recent notable ones to critique the upcoming title would be Michael Pachter, a popular industry analyst, as he stated that not only will Battlefield 5 do marvelously, but it will most likely dethrone Call of Duty from where it stands.

Though the claim is quite one to be considered a little too over-the-top, Pachter believes that EA has learned from their flaws and as long as the multiplayer feature proves itself reasonable, it will definitely be a worthy adversary for Call of Duty and other titles of the similar caliber.

Pachter, as per Christian Post, thinks that Call of Duty may have to worry a little bit about Battlefield 5, especially after learning from Star Wars: Battlefront, which many have spotted having a plethora of flaws. He was quoted, "DICE... are clearly learning with whatever mistakes they made... I was quite surprised by the low Metacritic scores for Star Wars but DICE I think will get Battlefield 5 right. So I'm going to call Battlefield 5 as the top selling game for 2016."

Overall, Battlefield 5 is still a work in progress, and speculations about the game have stayed rampant to this day. Rumors on the release date claim that the designated launch of Battlefield 5 will drop most likely within November of 2016.
