XCOM 2 has officially been within the radar of many, as it is being followed by not just a great fan base, but because of a first installment that makes it such a valuable series to tail. There are some factors that the game still may need to improve on-and some issues that need deep clarification.
Fans may know by now what XCOM 2 is about-the world of man has fallen under the clutches of an alien race that dictates the pace of life amongst them and a group of rebellious vigilantes look to claim back the seemingly lost fight. As per The Star, the trailer has revealed itself way before the anticipated launch date, but the smallest concerns still surround the second title.
As reported by PC GamesN, there has been quite a debate in the possibilities around the upcoming XCOM 2. Some believe that the gameplay for the said expansion may be a little bit complex, as compared to the predecessor, XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
This doubt has just been further agitated when Firaxis themselves insisted that the particular second expansion will be a similar to the aforementioned but as of the moment, cannot be totally proven yet.
One other issue, however, is the speculation that contents for XCOM 2 was being deprived from the fans in an attempt to make bigger sales in the future. According to Game Spot, Director Jake Solomon was quick to trash the issue, as the team does not at all look to have the fans getting half-baked games.
Solomon was quoted on explaining what the real score is on the matter saying, "I understand the concern, but I feel totally comfortable engaging in that conversation," he says. "We're not holding anything back. We have a lot of content to make for DLC, but we won't start on it until we make the core game."
Firaxis' XCOM 2 is slated for release on February 5th, 2016. The time allotted for the game's utter development will most likely prove to be more than enough for the team to create the best possible continuity for the franchise.
