Project CARS 2:In Progress Since June Confirmed by Slightly Mad; Release Date in 2016?

All the news that surrounded Project CARS 2 has gone up and down on numerous occasions. It would be normal to some that at this point, many would doubt that the title is even in development. Slightly Mad Studios themselves have gone to correct the allegations and give hope to the fans-even as the current title is still on a strong limb.

IGN reported that although Project CARS 2 still remains anonymous for the moment. Fans are not to give up on the existing title that Slightly Mad Studios has and still does put effort into.

The generous game development company has released a vast array of footages, trailers and more importantly, updates that according to them, will follow through until next year. As per Slightly Mad, much of these additions to the system will be through downloadable content updates.

Previous news also stated just how much the second title has been craved for by fans of the series, even if being one of the less recognized contender among other games of the said genre. Slightly Mad Studios cleared out to all the skeptics and naysayers that Project CARS 2 is not at all a myth, rather it is a work in progress that currently has its foot on the gas. Moreover, Slightly Mad Studios said that the second installment was already in the works since June of this year.

VR Focus added further that the second installment may or may not permit the compatibility of Project CARS 2 towards VR and Oculus Rift. Though it may be too early to tell, fans speculate that the said features will most likely be on the expansion as well given that it will launch for the new generation consoles.

No specific release date for Project CARS 2 has been divulged yet by Slightly Mad Studios but it is predicted to come out in 2016. Fans, however, can rest assured that they will not be rendered uninformed of the progress that the development team has accomplished and will continue to make for the coming months.
