BTOB member Yook Sungjae and his virtual wife Red Velvet's Joy are getting more intimate on the 300th episode of "We Got Married". The filming took place in a pool where the couple was currently participating in a photo shoot for a calendar.
The young idols were surely having a good time with each other as they kept on playing around. Sungjae could not stop laughing as he was trying to get in the mood for the theme of the pictorial.
The 19-year-old Joy was then flustered when his on-screen husband who would usually crack up during their sweet moments, fixed his eyes on her all the while holding her close with the distance between them virtually nonexistent.
"I really thought Yook Sungjae wouldn't be able to do it, but suddenly his expression changed and he had this really gentle look in his eyes. Honestly, my heart was pounding," confesses Joy during the routine interview on the show.
Could it be that they are falling in love with each other? Supporters of the young couple could very well remember how the idols started "We Got Married" through an extremely awkward gift-giving in which Joy hid herself in a big box amongst sea of huge gifts and Sungjae had to find her, only to see his hiding wife-to-be's back sticking out the box as soon as he got in the meeting place.
The episode then followed with another awkward mission in a dermatology clinic where Joy insisted Sungjae to shave his legs through a laser procedure and then asked him if he might as well shave his armpits.
They got close real quick and proceeded to surprise each other. Sungjae even serenaded her with a romantic song in one of the early episodes, their shyness slowly dissipating.
Although Sungjae is older by a year and is the male in the virtual marriage, Joy seems to be the bolder one, always telling him what he likes about him and never fails to complement him when they meet such as "You look cute today," getting him tongue-tied, blushing.
Sungjae revealed during the first episode before they even met that he wants to marry an older woman and have a baby soon but judging by how they adjusted well with one another, he may have provided an exemption for his on-screen wife Joy. Whether they end up dating in real life or not will be ascertained when MBC's "We Got Married" Season Four ends.
