Man Lives in Woman’s Attic for Two Weeks (Watch Video)

By

On Tuesday, a mother of five in Rock Hill, North Carolina noticed something strange in her attic. Thinking it was an animal or some kind of rodent, the mother whose complete identity remains sealed asked her nephew to check on the matter. No, it was not a rodent or any animal, but in fact a man.

The man came down, smiled at the woman and then left the house as the woman rushed to call the cops. The man left before the cops arrived. The man has been identified, though not arrested. He was found to possess a number of criminal records, including one related to car-theft.

According to reports, there were cups of urine and feces in the attic. Police have not discovered motive or any specifics as to how long he was living in the attic, but say that it could not have been for more than two weeks.

Tracy, the woman (her last name remains undisclosed due to security reasons), told Yahoo News, "He had packed all the old coats and jackets into the heating unit and was sleeping in the heating unit," she went to add, "It's got me flabbergasted...How can you look at someone through an air vent?" according to the Charlotte Observer.

Although there have been floating rumors mentioned specifically in the Yahoo Article, Tracy has made no claims that the man was her ex-boyfriend. However, the mother of five admits that she knew the man.

Tracy told the Charlotte Observer, ""I want him to be charged with it," she told the Observer. "It could be somebody else he does the same thing to, but she might not be so lucky."
