Late Tuesday, Jessica Labrie, a former employee of the Hole Band front singer Courtney Love, filed suit against the rock star for unpaid wages and breach of contract.
Lebrie, who was hired by Love as an administrative assistant in June of 2010 for about a year, claims that the singer "acted with an improper and evil motive amounting to malice or despicable conduct," according to E! Online.
Lebrie alleges that Love asked her to hire hackers and falsify legal documents, Lebrie declined to commit any of the acts. Lebrie claims that Love refused to pay her thousands of dollars in wages, which also include travel expenses for various trips that she had to take for Love. The Plaintiff also makes claims of suffering from head-aches, insomnia and other similar disorders as a result of Love's "evil" conduct. Lebire says that Love had her working for more than 60-hours per week without being paid overtime. She never received the promised bonuses as per her contract nor her tuition payments for Yale, which was also promised to her in the contract.
The singer and her team have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
Courtney Love rose to fame as the lead singer in an indie rock band called the Hole. Love's real name is Courtney Michelle Harrison. The 48-year-old has tried her hand at acting as well as art. She recently finished a music tour in Brazil early this year.
