BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Penn State police investigator, Ronald Schreffler, told the court Thursday that after the mother of an alleged victim complained to the police, an investigation was made in 1998, however since no charges were pressed the investigation came to a stop.
Alleged victim no.25 also took the stand today and told the court that the former Penn State football Jerry Sandusky, invited him to shower with him on various occasions. The alleged victim was 11 at the time.
Judge John Cleland told Fox News that the case was moving at a fast pace and that they could finish hearing all the prosecutors' witness by this Friday if that speed kept up. "Things are moving along quicker than anticipated," he told the news channel.
Yesterday, one alleged victim told the court that Sandusky threatened him. The victim now 25 years old testified, "He told me that I told anybody, that I would never see my family again," afterwards Sandusky reverted back, according to the victim saying " he didn't mean it and that he loved me," as reported by CNN News.
Victim No. 7 also testified today, saying that Sandusky touched him inappropriately and hugged him in the shower.
Prosecutors' star witness, PSU assistant football coach took to stand telling the court that he had seen Sandusky having sex with a boy in the shower. He claimed to have reported it to officials. McQueary's father testified saying that he met with the University's vice president, Gary Schultz, regarding the matter.
"I made Mr. Schultz aware that I knew of this incident, and understood that Mike had met with him, and he had told Coach (Joe) Paterno... Mr. Schultz said that he had heard noise about this before, earlier than Mike's report," according to CNN reports.
The ex-Penn State football coach, Jerry Sandusky has been charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse and molestation of young boys during his reign as associate football coach at the University. Prosecutors say that Sandusky had molested over 10 young boys over the span of 15 years. Sandusky has repeatedly denied all charges and claims not-guilty.
