White & Case Promotes 18 to Counsel and 20 to Local Partner

Global law firm White & Case LLP has promoted 18 of its lawyers to counsel and 20 to local partner across the Firm.

All promotions were effective 1 January 2012.

Americas
Maria Beguiristain is based in our Miami office and has been named counsel in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Qualified in Florida, she concentrates on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters, with an emphasis on federal court proceedings.
Narciso Campos is based in our Mexico City office and has been named local partner in our Global Capital Markets Practice. Qualified in Mexico, he specializes in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and has also participated in banking and securities transactions, debt restructurings, project financing, as well as advising on regulatory matters.
Lisa Feld is based in our New York office and has been named counsel in our Global Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Qualified in New York, she represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors and committees in US Chapter 11 reorganization cases and cross-border insolvency proceedings.
Raúl Fernández-Briseño is based in our Mexico City office and has been named local partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisition Practice. Qualified in Mexico, he has broad experience in M&A, corporate law, telecommunications and disputes.
Ronald Gorsich is based in our Los Angeles office and has been named counsel in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Qualified in California, he advises on all aspects of business litigation and alternative dispute resolution with a heavy emphasis on bankruptcy litigation.
Marko Maglich is based in our New York office and has been named counsel in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Qualified in New York, he directs the Firm's immigration work.
Gustavo Robles is based in our Mexico City office and has been named local partner in our Global Commercial Litigation Practice. Qualified in Mexico, he practices project finance, public and private financial restructuring, securities, administrative litigation and dispute settlement.
Jane Rueger is based in our Washington, DC, office and has been named counsel in our Global Project Finance Practice. Qualified in California and the District of Columbia, she advises on transactional and regulatory issues under US energy law, representing a broad range of clients.
Kristina Zissis is based in our Washington, DC, office and has been named counsel in our Global Trade Practice. Qualified in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania, she advises on all aspects of international trade regulation, including import investigations, export control and economic sanctions rules and World Trade Organization law.

Matthias Bochum is based in our Hamburg office and has been named local partner in our Global Banking Practice. Qualified in Germany, he specializes in counseling banks, financial service providers and enterprises on all aspects of law in connection with loans and bank regulatory issues.
Nicolas Bouchardie is based in our Paris office and has been named counsel in our Global International Arbitration Practice. Qualified in New York and France, Nicolas concentrates on international commercial arbitration and has significant experience with construction disputes.
Veronica Carson is based in our London office and has been named counsel in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Qualified in England and Wales, she is a professional support lawyer, responsible for monitoring and analyzing legal, practice and market developments whilst coordinating knowledge management activities generally across the London office.
Ladislav Chundela is based in our Prague office and has been named counsel in our Global Real Estate Practice. Qualified in the Czech Republic, he concentrates on real estate and construction matters, in addition to advising on corporate law and M&A.
Sylvia Ebersberger is based in our Munich office and has been named local partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Qualified in Germany, she advises on corporate acquisitions and transfers, joint ventures and commercial co-operations.

Alicia Hardy is based in our London office and has been named counsel in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Qualified in England and Wales, she is a professional support lawyer responsible for overseeing the delivery of legal and skills training throughout the London office, as well as training programs for the M&A/corporate and banking and capital markets sections.

Jamie Thomas is based in our Singapore office and has been named a local partner in our Global Banking Practice. Qualified in England and Wales, he advises clients on leveraged finance, restructurings, debt buy-backs, structured lending, cross-border finance and the secondary debt markets.
