The battle of the Azaleas has begun!
USA Today reported that the hot-tempered Azealia Banks has recently gone on a Twitter rampage, targeting fellow rapper Iggy Azalea.
In her posts, she criticized Azalea, whom she called "Igloo Australia," for not commenting on the issues involving the deaths of two black unarmed men, Ferguson and the New York City Police Department.
According to the site, Banks felt that Azalea have to say something about the matter as she is capitalizing the African American Culture in her music.
"its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen... Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh?" one of her Twitter posts read.
Another read, "If you're down to ride with us bitch you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY"
Meanwhile, Azalea also posted a series of messages on Twitter, defending herself from the bashing of Banks.
One of her tweets read, "Theres more to sparking a change than trolling on social media. World issues shouldnt be used as a poor excuse to promote fan battles."
"Make sure you do something to let YOUR government know how you feel when something is unjust., not JUST your followers on twitter..." read another.
According to Entertainment Wise, Azalea also called out one of her followers who trashed talked her. "@shepkeegs to somebody trying to use my name & the actual problem to promote themselves via "twitter beef" dont fall into the pettiness trap," Azalea tweeted.
On other news, blogger Perez Hilton has also been caught in the tension after he waded into the heat sparked by Banks.
Heat World reported that Perez did not like what Banks wrote about Azalea, causing him to respond to Banks tweets.
"You were doing so good with letting your music keep you relevant for a week. When that was done... sad," wrote Perez.
Apparentlt, Banks did not let this pass. She then replied, "You're still a f**got tho. LOLOLOLOL... and just because you are a f**got doesn't mean I hate gay men. MAMA LUUUH DA K**TZ, just not you Henny."
Perez then responded, "And you're still delusional and ignorant. You can not redefine the F word as you have been attempting to... You are your own worst enemy. I do feel sorry for you. It is clear that you have serious mental issues, like Amanda Bynes."
