'Baywatch' is an upcoming comedy film directed by Seth Gordon. Original television series star Pamela Anderson revealed that she may make a came on the upcoming adaptation. New cast member Alexandra Daddario shared her secret to getting in shape for her new role as Summer Quinn.

Anderson revealed during an interview with Time that she was offered to do a cameo in the upcoming cinematic adaptation of the 'Baywatch' television series starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron. Although she wasn't keen television series adapted into films, she said that she was considering making an appearance.

She said, "I just got a call that they're offering me a part in it, like a cameo or something. I don't know if I'll do it. I don't know how that benefits me in any way. I just feel like I'm doing so many other great films and things that are really interesting. But I'm really honored by the way they want to honor me; it's kind of an homage to me. I may make an appearance in it."

The 48-year old actress said that she loved how the original series was so "beautiful" one could watch it on mute. She added that she didn't think her role as CJ Parker was sexy. In fact, she thought that it was serious business getting to rescue people on-screen.

Kelly Rohrbach has been cast as the new C.J. Parker for the cinematic adaptation. She joins Alexandra Daddario, who has been cast as the new Summer Quinn, originally portrayed by Nicole Eggert. Daddario revealed that although she likes being paid to get in shape, she indulges in junk food and ice cream once in a while.

According to Movie News Guide, Daddario admitted that she had to cut out wine and cheese from her diet. She said, "It's hard for me to motivate myself but I have abs now, which is very exciting! I do miss ice cream though but I treat myself every now and then, as you can see from Twitter."

The American actress and model is best known for her work on television shows such as 'All My Children', 'White Collar' and 'Parenthood'. She also appeared on the big-screen for films such as 'Hall Pass', 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' and 'San Andreas'.

According to IGN, Daddario expressed her enthusiasm over her new role although she remained mum on the details. She said, "I think the people involved are brilliant and I've worked with the people involved... With the Rock and with the whole cast that they've assembled, I'm incredibly excited. I really think people are going to be very happy with what the movie will be."

'Baywatch' is an upcoming remake of the popular action-drama television series of the same name. It is directed by Seth Gordon and is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2017.
